Donald Trump announces a list of potential Supreme Court judges whith includes:
Judge William Pryor of the Atlanta-based federal appeals court, who has called the landmark Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion nationwide the “worst abomination in the history of constitutional law.”
Joan Larsen, served in the Justice Department office that produced the legal justifications for the enhanced interrogation techniques, including waterboarding, that critics have called torture.
Judge Steven Colloton, ruled for faith-affiliated groups that challenged Obama administration rules giving women covered by the groups’ health plans access to cost-free contraceptives.
And others…
One of the most notable things about Trump’s list is the main stream propagandias reaction to it. Absolute horror! These horrid possibilities are, of all the damnable things… Constitutionally oriented! Oh MY…
The propagandia takes great pains to consider their qualifications… not. New York Times, ABC News, NBC News, CNN, NPR, MPR… point out the terrifying facts that:
*“Several are favorites of CONSERVATIVE legal scholars.”
*One worked for the Bush White House’s office of FAITH BASED INITIATIVES, where he pushed to keep a monument of the Ten Commandments on public property [gasp] and keeping the words “under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance.
*several have QUESTIONED abortion RIGHTS! [Questioned?? My God that’s despicable!]
*Judge Gruender supported a law requiring doctors to actually tell women the obvious truth that abortions “terminate the life of a whole, separate, unique living human being.” [God NO!!!]
*Judge Prior has DENOUNCED Roe v. Wade as having manufacured, “a constitutional right to murder an unborn child.” Radical extremism indeed!
*Nan Aron, the president of the liberal Alliance for Justice Action Council, says Trump’s choices are “DANGEROUS,” and includes “open hostility to Americans’ rights and liberties…” [You know the right to murder unwanted children, the right to decide how much to pay your employees, the right to drive an S.U.V., etc.]
*The list includes some of the most extreme conservatives on the federal bench today. Shudder!
*Ed Whelan, former clerk to Justice Scalia reserved judgement about whether conservatives should trust Mr. Trump to follow through on what he says…
*Some of Trump’s conservative critics remain doubtful. Erick Erickson, conservative blogger says, “He will waffle, he will backtrack, and he simply cannot be believed.”
*Taken together, the records of these potential Trump nominees reflect a radical-right ideology that threatens fundamental rights, and that favors the powerful over everyone else, especially people from historically marginalized communities.
*A Trump nominee in any of those seats would cement CONSERVATIVE [horrors] domination of the court for years, if not DECADES.

I could go on… and on… and on, but what is notable here is that the swing of the propagandistic pendulum ends somewhere left of center. One, as usual, has to move outside of the coverage we get from the main stream propagandia to hear anything positive or from a conservative point of view. Our modern search engines require some amount of effort to find any topic not considered to be “politically correct” (left wing). In the case of Google, on the 4th page of results, #30 in the pile, to find a link to http://redalertpolitics.com/ which is a political site run by young conservatives. Finally one runs into something more complete and compelling in reference to the possibilities:

There is a hidden beauty in the propaganda mechanisms the left has in place, which is that we can easily determine what the motivators of statist expansion and increased restriction of freedom/responsibility are hoping for the people to believe. Recognition of this, which is increasing thanks in large part to Trump thumbing his nose at the same media representative that have typically had Republicans trembling in their candles. Had the Right been reacting aggressively to the lies and distortions of the left and their guns in the media, the medias gunsmanship would have evaporated years ago…
